in a Saanich driveway today. Last time I saw this
converted bus was in 1988 at the RV Park on Mt Newton X rd.
502 was one of the only 4104s that was originally destined for PCL
duty when PSL and VICL merged in 1979. It was given PCL fleet # 4301
on paper. However, if it ran at all it did so in the old VICL orange,
the paint it wears to this day. The big seagull emblem that survives faded and peeling on the
bus. Likely the only bus that still has an original gull, since all
other VICL units that didn't go to PCL that i know of either had full
or partial repaints, or had already been painted green in the late 1970s.
